Overview
Intellias is a private limited company by shares (Ltd.), managed by its owners: Mr. Michael Puzrakov is responsible for Business Development, while Mr. Vitaly Sedler – for Marketing and Sales. The company’s organizational structure is composed of Development Center and Business Planning Division based in Lviv (Ukraine) and Representative Office for Sales & Marketing based in Zurich (Switzerland). Currently, the company permanently employs more than 60 professionals.
Intellias business idea is about assisting European companies to leverage the most of nearshore software development benefits, including cultural alignment, geographical proximity, cost-effectiveness and access to well-trained resources. Intellias is very flexible towards service models, optimizing them for different needs of company’s customers.
History
- February 2002 - Year of the company foundation. Intellias has become one of the first Ukrainian companies with strategic orientation towards D-A-CH market. The decision has been predetermined by successful completion of partnerships with a number of IT corporates and industry manufacturers.
- April 2003 - Intellias initiated full-scale cooperation with ARPA Data GmbH, its representative in Switzerland.
- September 2006 - The company's Quality Management System became ISO 9001 certified, meeting the quality management system requirements in monitoring of customer satisfaction, conducting internal audits, conformity of the software product and certification compliance of cooperation with company suppliers.
- November 2006 - Intellias has joined Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative, Ukraine's leading organization for software development outsourcing, focusing on promoting country's software development companies on European and North American IT markets.
- May 2007 - The company expressed its intent to diversify its regional presence through potential partnerships in North America and Nordics.
- December 2008 - Company’s personnel growth for Q4 2007 – Q4 2008 totaled 30%. During this period and continuously in 2009, the number of clients from D-A-CH region equaled 90%.
Intellias intends to continue growing available project capacities, with forecasted corporate growth amounting to 40%. Company's management expects significantly positive results for the year 2009, with D-A-CH, Nordic and US customers fueling the revenue growth.
Customers
The core groups of Intellias clients represent IT-rich businesses, companies that produce or market their own software products (ISVs) as well as IT and software service providers.
The target customer segment is small and medium-sized enterprises from IT, Telco, Media, Publishing and Retailing domains.
Companies already benefiting from Intellias software development services include also large media corporates and financial corporations such as RTL Group, LTV Gelbe Seiten and Swissclick.
