In particular, it aims to compare the preferred outsourcing scenarios: nearshoring, offshoring and onshoring together with identifying the reasons for cooperation with local freelancers and remaining the development inhouse. Also, the survey's objective is to benchmark vendor selection criteria, explore most attractive service models and study key factors for successful cooperation with the outsourcing providers.

Lviv as an outsourcing location
Apart from being a city with a rich history and large cultural significance, Lviv was also appointed by KPMG as one of the top upcoming outsourcing destinations. Lviv has a unique combination of cultural similarity, cost-effective solutions and great availability of highly qualified IT personnel. Namely, the city offers significantly more cost-effective solutions than Kiev or other CEE cities. Also there are two top-class Ukrainian universities with a considerable number of IT-graduates per year. Lviv is easy to reach with many direct flights to the Western European locations; no visa is required for the EU citizens.
