Overview
Intellias is a private company limited by shares (Ltd.), managed by its owners, Mr. Michael Puzrakov and Mr. Vitaly Sedler. Mr. Puzrakov is responsible for Business Development, while Mr. Sedler is responsible for Marketing and Sales.
The company’s organizational structure includes a Development Center and Business Planning Division based in Lviv (Ukraine) and a Sales and Marketing office based in Zürich (Switzerland). Currently, the company employs more than 60 professionals.
Intellias' purpose is to assist companies in leveraging the most of offshore software development potential, including business alignment, sophisticated programming skills, cost-effectiveness and access to well-trained resources. Intellias optimizes the engagement process to fit the varying needs of its customers
History
- February 2002 - Intellias was founded and quickly became one of the first Ukrainian companies with a strategic focus on the German-speaking (DACH) markets. The decision was predetermined by the successful completion of partnerships with a number of IT corporations and industry manufacturers across Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
- April 2003 - Intellias initiated a full-scale cooperation with ARPA Data GmbH, its representative in Switzerland.
- September 2006 - The company’s Quality Management System became ISO 9001 certified, demonstrating its ability to meet the quality management system requirements in the monitoring of customer satisfaction, in conducting effective internal audits, and assuring conformity of the software product to the highest industry standards.
- November 2006 - Intellias joined the Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative, Ukraine’s leading organization for software development outsourcing. The organization focuses on promoting the country’s software development companies in the European and North American IT markets.
- May 2007 - The company expressed its intent to diversify its regional presence through potential partnerships in North America and the Nordics.
Intellias intends to continue growing available project capacities, with forecasted corporate growth in 2008 amounting to 40%. The company’s management expects significantly positive results for the year 2008, with DACH, Nordic and US customers fueling the revenue growth.
Customers
The core group of Intellias clients include IT-rich businesses, companies that develop or market their own software products (ISVs), as well as IT and software service providers.
The target customer segment is small and medium-sized enterprises from the IT, Telco, Media, Publishing and Retailing domains.
The companies already benefiting from Intellias' software development services also include large media and financial corporations such as RTL Group, S.A. IPM, Mizuho and Belgium's largest internet service provider, Skynet Belgacom.
