On June 26, 2017, Intellias, a leading nearshore software engineering provider to the UK and the DACH and Benelux countries, was shortlisted for the Global Sourcing Association (GSA) UK Awards in the category ITO Project of the Year. For 14 years already, the GSA UK Awards have been recognizing and celebrating the achievements of companies that demonstrate excellence in outsourcing. This year, the GSA has announced a record number of entries. For Intellias, this shortlist nomination is a recognition of dedication and quality in the company’s outsourcing governance practices.
ITO Project of the Year nomination
Intellias was shortlisted in the ITO Project of the Year category for its partnership with the leading UK iGaming industry provider. In 2015, this London-based company, with its own development centers across the world, entrusted its first-ever outsourcing project to Intellias. The client was looking for an adaptable partner with proven engineering maturity and a capacity to scale. Intellias’ approach – “big enough to scale, small enough to care” – was the right match for their needs. With top engineering talent on board and a strong governance model, the two companies built a framework for collaboration that offered both consistency and agility to reach their goals.
It was a great experience with Intellias’ management given that I was in touch with their CEO from day one and not with an assigned account manager.
Great expectations drive great results
The award-winning client had very high standards regarding quality of work, scheduling, and in particular close integration with the team. Their project took on 25 high-profile engineers and was part of a larger 70-engineer team that continued developing other products within the client’s iGaming portfolio. As the team grew, the client requested a move to a dedicated A-class office for even closer collaboration.
We had very high standards that needed to be met. Intellias is the only instance where we used an outsourced development company — we felt that we needed to have a reasonable assurance of staffing up quickly for such a big project. I am happy with the quality of developers; Intellias has a good team
