On October 1, HeForShe Congress united progressive businesses in Ukraine to discuss best practices of promoting gender equality and non-discrimination. HeForShe is a global solidarity movement founded by UN Women to accelerate progress in realizing women’s rights worldwide.
One of the panels focused on how companies can create equal career opportunities for mothers and fathers. Three successful Ukrainian companies — Nestlé Ukraine, Deloitte Ukraine, and Intellias — shared hands-on experience in helping their employees be super-parents and stay efficient at work.
Roman Hapachylo, VP of Talent Management at Intellias, spoke about benefits the company provides for parents, highlighting children’s rooms in Intellias offices.* These rooms are an essential element of Intellias HR policies, as the company aims to create an effective work environment that prioritizes comfortable conditions for employees and their families.
Intellias considers investments in children’s rooms to be undoubtedly justified. This initiative helps the company build a strong team, reduce staff turnover, and provide equal career development opportunities.
